Here is a summary of my education, curriculum, publications, experience as a reviewer, and also a bit about my new career in kinesiologie (in French).

Education & Curriculum

I have successfully completed a Ph.D. in ICT from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). My Ph.D. thesis talks about data mining, text mining, and web usage mining. I have also received a number of corporate training and certifications in various fields of ICT, including web application development, Java, and UML.

Prior to my Ph.D., I have spent three years with IBM, as team leader and coach in e-business application development; Java, OO, RUP, UML, and databases. After my Ph.D., I also have spent some time as research consultant with Smals eGov, a NPO dedicated to large eGovernment ICT projects.

Selected Publications

During my corporate career, I have published books with Prentice-Hall and IBM Redbook Press. I have written articles with JavaWorld magazine. During my Ph.D., I have published research papers at international conferences, the proceedings of which have been peer-reviewed and edited by major editors like ACM, IEEE, and Springer Verlag. A research article of mine has also been published with a peer-reviewed international research journal on data mining. Nowadays, my writing activity is focused on alternative healthcare research including energetics and kinesiologie (linked page is French).
